An in-depth course designed for teachers on the work carried out by the Intergovernmental Group on Climate Change (IPCC), founded in 1988 by two United Nations bodies, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), in order to provide governments around the world with a clear scientific vision of the current state of knowledge on climate change and its potential environmental and socio-economic impact, in light of the recent publication of the Sixth Assessment Report.

Angela Pomaro, researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences of the National Research Council (CNR-ISMAR), at the Institute's headquarters in Venice, will be speaking.

INFORMATION

The meeting will be held only online on Zoom Platform. The link to connect to the training meeting will be sent to participants on Wednesday November 10.

The meeting is reserved for teaching staff of all levels, educators and cultural mediators.
