Directly following World Oceans Day, children and teenagers design and create sculptures inspired by the sea in this dedicated workshop, using recycled materials and repurposing plastic that has been removed from the city, beaches and waters during the Plastic Free Venice Lagoon clean-up day on June 8. By re-using found materials this workshop raises awareness of how much of our refuse ends up in our waters, and the ecological impact of waste and plastics. Workshops are free but booking is required at education@ocean-space.org.
