- Latai Taumoepeau, Elisapeta Hinemoa Heta — Re-Stor(y)ing Oceania
On Saturday, August 10, on the occasion of San Lorenzo Night, Ocean Space will remain open until 10pm, allowing visitors to explore the exhibition "Re-Stor(y)ing Oceania" under the starry sky.
Visitors are invited to engage with the artwork of Latai Taumoepeau by paddling together to amplify the voices of Pacific inhabitants as much as possible and to bring to life a collective ritual to honor and celebrate the Ocean.
Until closing time, our team of cultural mediators will be available to provide insights and information about the current exhibition and the history of the Church of San Lorenzo.
The evening is organized in collaboration with the municipality of Venezia-Murano-Burano, which has concieved a series of activities for children and adults to celebrate summer, the falling stars, and the connection between the sky and the sea.
