The event will be held in Italian

In September and October, we invite you to Ocean Space for a series of events in collaboration with the Spazio Levante Association.

Through a series of morning practices, we bring the movement of the body, the silence of the mind, and inner and mutual listening to the stage, exploring the lightness, stability, balance, and depth of the body-mind connection.

The meetings will be inspired by the exhibition Re-Stor(y)ing Oceania, which centers on ritual practices, performance, and body movement as collective ways to raise awareness on urgent ecological issues.

Waves of the spine with Ilaria

In the third session, Ilaria will lead us in a practice aimed at discovering the fluidity and movement of the spine. It will be an opportunity to reconnect with a part of the body that is as important as it is often neglected. A session to change our perspective by also looking "backward."

Biographies

Anara Abulkhassanova. Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Anara began studying music at a young age. Through music, particularly singing and research on voice, word, and breath, she approached the discipline of Yoga. She encountered the Himalayan Tradition of Swami Rama and became passionate about the ancient practice of its sages and their uninterrupted lineage. Anara proposes a deep postural practice that teaches the use of only the necessary muscles in asanas and life, leaving the rest of the body relaxed. This practice educates in the increasingly refined listening for correct diaphragmatic breathing, which becomes a kind of massage that frees and unites psychophysical structures, developing awareness from wider to more subtle levels. A journey that leads to a silent point of a stable body and quiet mind, where we can enjoy the beauty of our true nature! Following paths like asana, pranayama, yoga nidra, mantra yoga, kundalini, and meditation, she offers a harmonious practice in the PranaVidya style. She deepened her knowledge of Sanskrit at Ca’ Foscari University and became passionate about Indian philosophy and mythology. Currently, she teaches Himalayan Yoga at the Spazio Levante Association.

Ilaria Pagin. Originally from Venice, Ilaria trained in various parts of the world. Her journey began as an aerobics teacher in England, and later she discovered the world of Yoga in India. In 2017, she completed her first 200-hour teacher training course in Goa, and in 2018, she obtained both the 100-hour and 300-hour certifications in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Mysore. Ilaria completed her yoga studies in 2021 in Venice with the master's degree "Yoga Studies, Body and Meditation of Asia" at Ca' Foscari University, Venice. She continued her studies with a "Postural" Master at the Elav research center and is currently enrolled in the three-year degree in Motor Sciences at San Raffaele University in Rome. Ilaria teaches Functional Flow at Spazio Levante, the association she founded. She creates mobility sequences that help students connect with their bodies, blending tradition and science with a fluid, ever-evolving approach.
