In collaboration with Spazio Levante
During the eight sessions held in collaboration with Associazione Spazio Levante, we will embark on a journey of exploration of our bodies and the ways we listen to, perceive, and use them.
Through dance and singing, we will discover various ways to refine the coordination between different parts of our bodies, bringing them into communication in extraordinary ways, and moving toward a deeper sense of harmony—both individual and collective.
The elements and concepts shared between the work of the artists in Ocean Space's 2025 exhibition season and these eight sessions include the use of improvisation~freestyle as a collective tool for rediscovery, revolution, and regeneration; and the idea of working on the deep and often forgotten connection that links the sensations of the various parts of our body with the world around us. Increasing awareness of this connection can lead to a new and better way of living the present and imagining the future.
The sessions will be divided into two cycles, the first in spring and the second in autumn. Each cycle will include four meetings focused on dance and movement and one session dedicated to voice and rhythmic coordination.
This journey will guide us out of the patterns of our daily routines, pushing us beyond the usual limits of body perception. Each session will be an opportunity to embrace spontaneous movement, allowing the body to express itself naturally and without judgment—surprising us with the endless possibilities we are capable of.
